Frequently Asked Questions

  • Must I complete the diamond foundation course before attending the ‘Introduction to the 4Cs Workshop’?

Yes, the online course is designed to give all students a good foundation of knowledge to build on, and although they may already have experience in one field, we must ensure all students have a basis of understanding across all the modules covered in the Diamond Foundation Course. Meaning that when students do attend the Introduction to the 4Cs Workshop, they can focus on increasing their diamond handling skills.

  • I don’t handle diamonds in my current role, is it necessary for me to attend this course?

When selling any product it is important to not only understand the theoretical applications and processes, but also to demonstrate practical knowledge of handling the product. This will give your customers confidence to purchase items from you, and allow you to speak with experience about the complexity of the 4Cs.

  • Will I receive any extra accreditation for attending this workshop?

You will achieve an additional certification of completion once you have attended the workshop, so that you can demonstrate your experience of handling diamonds, and to show that you have taken a closer look specifically at the polished 4Cs.

  • Do I need to bring anything with me to the workshop

Everything is supplied to ensure that you have the correct equipment for your hands on experience of the 4Cs.

  • What does CPD accreditation mean?

Accredited CPD training means the learning activity has reached the required Continuing Professional Development standards and benchmarks. The learning value has been scrutinised to ensure integrity and quality. The CPD Certification Service provides recognised independent CPD accreditation compatible with global CPD requirements. See the CPD Certification Services' website for further details.
